Plate’s signature buffet dinner takes on a brand-new concept with “Sea & Grill: Flavours from the Ocean and Land”. Char-grilled meats and fresh seafood take centre-stage as the indulgent menu features an extensive variety of international and local dishes.
Dive into the sweet bounty of the ocean with a tempting selection of fresh seafood-on-ice, such as Chilled Boston Lobsters, Half-Shelled Scallops with Roe, Tiger Prawns and much more. Diners can also indulge on platters of assorted fresh sashimi, complemented with refreshing appetisers and a create-your-own salad bar.
Carnivores can take delight in succulent meats from the carving station, which features Aburi-style Salmon with Yuzu Mayo, Slow-roasted Beef Rib Eye, and the new addition – Whole Roasted Suckling Pig, served with crispy pork skin, cucumber, scallions, and hoisin sauce on soft mantou buns. Continue the feast at our barbecue station as the chefs dish out Thai-style Grilled Pork Skewers, Spicy Otah, Grilled Sambal Squid, and more.
Some of the country’s favourite dishes will also line the buffet counters, including the popular Singapore Chilli Crab Meat with Deep-Fried Mantou and an à la minute station with Plate’s signature Singapore Laksa Noodles with Shredded Lobster, and much more.
As part of the hotel’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, select ingredients featured in the buffet are sourced from Mushroom Buddies, a local social enterprise that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities through meaningful employment in urban farming. This initiative aligns with Carlton City’s broader sustainability and community engagement goals.
All good things come to a sweet end with an indulgent array of local desserts like crowd favourite, Orh Nee and do-it-yourself Muah Chee, complete with a chocolate fountain, an assortment of cakes, pastries and assorted ice cream cups.
